The MCU has already introduced us to Thunderbolt Ross who will be important in the development of Thunderbolts. Black Widow could also tie into Thunderbolts appearing considering that the characters of William Thunderbolt Ross and Taskmaster are going to appear.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier looks to set up the Thunderbolts. The other Marvel Disney+ series premiering in 2020 is WandaVision. The unique, 60s inspired series looks to set up both Young Avengers and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
