Matt Murdock will return to the MCU in the upcoming Spider-Man film with rumors circulating, prompting many fans to show what the team-up might look like. Comic-book expert Kevin Smith recently made the rumor popular when he and Mark Bernardine discussed their podcast, Fatman Beyond. The story stems from the idea that Tom Holland's Peter Parker finds himself in dire need of a lawyer after revealing his secret identity and posing as a murderer in the mid-credit scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home. has been done.
Matt Murdock, Better known as Daredevil
Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil, was last seen as the star of his Netflix series starring Charlie Cox. Daredevil was canceled after its third season, but was considered one of the best shows on Netflix. The streaming service used Daredevil's popularity to spread the New York City-based corner of the MCU with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Punisher. He also overcame a mini-series called The Defenders, but even a superhero team-up could not save the show from corporate monopoly. All five were canceled as Disney consolidated Marvel's streaming offerings into its own platform Disney +.
Disney +'s She-Hulk show
These are nothing more than rumors at the moment, even with Kevin Smith cautioning fans that he has no inside information. It is also important to note that Matt Murdock is not the only superpower lawyer in the MCU. Disney +'s She-Hulk show is not far away and is part of a new wave of streaming shows that will be heavily linked to movies. Maybe Matt Parker will have Peter Parker's lawyer Jessica Walters instead. Unfortunately, fans will not know for sure, until there is some movement in the form of the third Spider-Man film.
